Help! I want to add an artist/song, but I don't know how

How do we know which tabs are originals?

Hi, Diploid! Congrats on the sysop status. I think the "tab of the week" idea is a good one and I'm all about casting a vote on it. I see one problem though! How are we supposed to know which tabs were original contributions and which tabs were just imported from OLGA, etc.? For a list of what I've tabbed, you can check out my user profile. Anybody else have a list of the ones they've contributed that I can check out?? --RockyRaccoon 9 Sep 2005

P.S. -- It might be easier just to consider all tabs for nomination (so long as they have not been chosen a previous week -- unless of course they were significantly upgraded from the previous award). It might be good for several reasons: (1) eliminates the need to determine which tabs are new additions or upgrades, rather than imports, (2) it vastly expands the amount of material which can be nominated -- even really good tabs that already exist on OLGA or other sites which can be imported immediately to tabwiki (and it may even encourage users to import good existing tabs here), (3) good tabs, even if they exist other places, may still deserve recognition here -- and little separates a good tab written elsewhere from a good tab written specifically for this site. Any opinions? :)

All right I was hoping this would serve to mainly encourage group efforts on tabs and more origonal tabbing however I see your point that bringing over good tabs from elsewhere is also just as important and that we are severly limiting the number of possible nomenies and hampering the ease of voting greatly. Therefore I am changing the rules to accomidate this!

Tab of the Month

I have changed this page to tab of the month because we simply don't have a large enough community at this point to support a weekly vote of any magnitude. Hopefully each month there will be enough votes to have a clear winner. We should also figure out rules for the procedure in the case of a tie.
