Welcome to the Fingerpicking WikiProject on Tabwiki, a collaboration amongst like-minded guitarists whose common goal is to improve the quality and organization of fingerpicking tablature available.
Concrete Goals
- Contributing new fingerpicking tabs to Tabwiki.
- Categorizing the current body of work.
- Porting quality fingerpicking tabs from other tab sites.
- Determine skill level of fingerpicking tabs available and categorize them appropriately.
- Offer tutorials or suggest fingerpicking tabs for practicing guitarists.
How You Can Help
Looking for something to do?
Add or Improve Tabs
Improve the current collection of fingerpicking tabs, port over existing tabs from other sources, or tab out and add some of your own!
Categorize Tabs
Make sure that all relevant tabs have the following label at the bottom:[[Category:Fingerpicking]]
Determine Skill Level
Add appropriate skill level categories to any fingerpicking tabs that don't already have one.
Assess Tab Quality
Determine which fingerpicking tabs are incomplete, confusing or contain mistakes and recommend that they be added to the collaboration active projects. Also, add the most appropriate categories of the following: Complete or Incomplete; Correct or Incorrect.
Direct Our Focus
Join or start a discussion about which projects we should spend most of our time addressing.
Improve Collaboration
Suggest ways we can improve our collaboration or help bring in more like-minded guitarists as collaborators.
